What is Tada and what are the benefits?

Tada is an advanced data visualization and reporting tool that conveys insights to stakeholders more quickly and effectively than traditional tools such as Excel or Access.  Tada also has the ability to aggregate or blend disparate data sources including AS/400 (DBS), CRM, Microsoft Excel, flat files, and much more.  We have experience connecting to other custom data sources through Web Data Connector and API development.  Examples of dashboards include PINS, UCCs, Sales Territory Planning, Inside Sales, Used Equipment, Executive Summary and Inventory Planning. How is visualizing data better than looking at standard “wall of data” reports?

Scientific studies have proven that the human brain is not equipped to efficiently process tabular structured reports because they require a high level of continual focus and cognitive strain to understand. What is RFM analysis?

RFM Analysis is a customer segmentation methodology that helps you understand customer behavior better than traditional revenue-only based models. R=Recency (the most recent customer transaction) F=Frequency (the number of transactions per unit of time) M=Monetary (the sales dollars per unit of time).  Suppose that your current customer segmentation model uses a $10,000 annual threshold for classification into a specific category. So, a customer who spends $10,000 in one transaction and one who spends $10,000 over 12 transactions would be treated the same.  The RFM model would weigh the customer who had 12 transactions more heavily and thus, treat with a higher priority and urgency than the customer with only one transaction.  At the end of the process you end up with a customer database with a more accurate representation of the engagement of each customer over the time period specified.

What is OLGA?

OLGA (Opportunity Lead Generation Analyzer) is Caterpillar's predictive tool which is replacing PTOS (Parts Tracking and Opportunity System) to help identify future parts and service opportunities for customers' machines.  Using a variety of inputs including service meter readings from connected assets, service work order data, oil sampling, and more, OLGA predicts when components will need to be replaced based on how much they are operating.  OLGA also can connect to your CRM tool to deliver filtered leads into the sales reps funnel for consideration and follow-up.

Do you use any other data tools besides Tada?

In addition to Tada, we are familiar with many other Business Intelligence (BI) tools including Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, Business Objects, Crystal Reports and Informer. We also use IBM SPSS Modeler for predictive analytics projects.

What is data enrichment?

One example of Data Enrichment that we have utilized effectively is appending email addresses to UCC records. Many other demographic variables can be added as well to add context around targeted marketing campaigns.
